123 Big Bounce Terms and Conditions you agree to on booking/paying a deposit:

  1. A responsible person over 18 years of age must supervise each inflatable at all times.
  2. Any soft play and/or other equipment hired must also be supervised by a responsible adult.
  3. No one under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants should be allowed on or near any of the equipment.
  4. The inflatable(s) must be secured to the ground at all times. The equipment must not be moved or re-positioned.
  5. No food or drinks are to be consumed on the inflatable (to avoid choking and mess).
  6. All shoes, badges and jewellery (e.g. large earrings, necklaces, etc.) must be removed to avoid damage to the equipment and injury to other users. It is recommended that spectacles and plastic alice bands are also removed. Adults must remove high-heeled shoes before stepping on mats.
  7. Ensure that the equipment is not overcrowded and limit the numbers depending on the age and size of children using it according to the recommendations printed on the equipment (on or near the front step of most inflatables).
  8. Do not allow children to take any hard or sharp objects onto the equipment, or anything large enough to block exits/entrances.
  9. Do not allow children to take balloons onto the equipment (burst balloons and strings can be a choking hazard).
  10. No party-poppers, henna, face paint, coloured streamers or “silly string” can be used near or on the equipment, as these may permanently stain the unit, for which you are liable. You agree to paying a minimum £30 cleaning charge if you are liable.
  11. If on arrival we are unable to set up due to misinformation or a lack of checking that the equipment is suitable for your venue, we will charge you the full amount for the booking. We strongly advise that you contact us prior to making a booking to ensure our products are suitable for your event.
  12. No water or other liquid to be poured or sprayed onto the equipment (other than a reasonable amount for cleaning purposes) as it causes the surface of inflatables to become slippery, damages soft play, and can result in subsequent bookings being cancelled if the equipment is too wet to be delivered. If equipment is deliberately soaked you will be charged double your hire fee to cover our costs in subsequent cancelled bookings and drying time.
  13. Inflatables must not be used in wind or wind gusts in excess of 24mph. Inflatables must not be used in heavy rain. Equipment must not be used in Thunder Storms.
  14. No smoking, barbecues, glass, pets or animals on or near the equipment.
  15. Reckless or boisterous behaviour must not be allowed.
  16. Avoid large children and small children from using the equipment at the same time.
  17. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is dangerous and must not be allowed.
  18. Children must use slides one at a time and must not climb on the sides of the slide.
  19. Slides should be used in a sitting position, feet first – do not allow jumping from the top of the slide.
  20. Safety mats must be positioned at the bottom of the slide.
  21. Ensure that mats supplied with the equipment remain where they were positioned during installation.
  22. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron of the inflatable(s). The step is there to help users get on and off.
  23. No-one with a history of back or neck problems should be allowed on the inflatable(s).
  24. Do not allow users on the inflatable(s) during inflation or deflation.
  25. If the inflatable(s) are not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower(s) off at the mains. IMPORTANT: If more than one blower is being run from a single extension lead you must unplug all but one blower before switching back on, plug the remaining blowers in one at a time only when each inflatable or part is fully inflated.
  26. In the event of rain please remove children from the inflatable(s) and place a table or similar object over the blower(s) to prevent water from being blown inside the inflatable(s). Do not switch the blower(s) off. Once the rain has stopped, please ensure that the entrance and exit to the inflatable(s) are dried with a towel before children are allowed back on as they become slippery when wet.
  27. Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.
  28. Should a blower overheat or lose power, immediately remove children from the inflatable and switch the blower off at the mains. It should restart when switched back on again 1 or 2 minutes later. If it does not please inform us on the telephone number above.
  29. We must be advised as soon as possible in the event of any injury requiring professional medical treatment. Treatment must be sought within 2 hours of the injury occurring and a detailed record of the incident and treatment must be provided to us.
  30. You must call us immediately upon any equipment failure. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us immediately.
  31. It Is your responsibility to inform us of any underground services (pipes, electric cables etc) in the area where we are going to anchor in pegs to secure the inflatable. If we deem it is not safe to do so because of such service, we will not be able to set up the inflatable.
  32. We require a deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance can be paid by bank transfer or cash prior to us setting up any equipment. We would appreciate it if you pay us on arrival at the latest or by bank transfer prior to the event date.
  33. We reserve the right to cancel your booking should there be adverse weather, Government guidelines which prevent hire or sudden, unforeseen availability of equipment. In such our liability will only be to the amount of money paid which we will refund fully or you will have the option to roll it over to another date.
  34. If for any reason we are unable to provide your selected product (e.g. booking system errors, sudden damage to products that require repair etc) we will offer you an alternative product. You have the right to a full refund of any money paid if you do not wish to go ahead with the booking.
  35. All information given to us at the time of booking must be correct. If we are unable to set-up due to incorrect information being provided at booking, you forfeit your deposit and we are within our rights to charge for the full hire. If you are unsure if a product is suitable, we always advise you to contact us first.

Disclaimers:

These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times. All persons using this equipment do so at their own risk. The person / organization hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. On delivery, you acknowledge receipt of the equipment in a good, clean condition and agree to abide by the terms and conditions and return the equipment in the same condition it was received in. If you have any issues with the condition of the equipment, you must make us aware of this prior to us departing having set up the equipment

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.

123 Big Bounce excludes any liability for injury loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this contract

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Provided that the equipment is used in accordance with the above guidelines and conditions of hire, those using the inflatable should do so safely. However, accidents can happen.

123 Big Bounce can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of the negligence of 123 Big Bounce or its employees. As the equipment will be in the hirers possession and control whilst in use rather than 123 Big Bounce, any liability for injuries or other losses caused other than in the circumstances described above rests with the hirer. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the hirer has adequate public liability insurance covering his or her liability arising from the use of the inflatable.

123 Big Bounce cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

Our preference at 123 Big Bounce is not to bring equipment through buildings. Ideally there should be a side gate or ground level, outdoor, external entrance to where you want your equipment set up. We may not always be able to go through a building due to the weight/size of our equipment or due to other obstacles. If you do decide that you want the product delivered through a building, we cannot accept any responsibility or liability for damage or mess caused by taking equipment through buildings. If there is an alternative route this is a more preferable option.
